Long time no see my dear blog.

How many months was it since the very last post?

I couldn't even remember the content already. hahas.

It might have become a habit to return here when i am done with my exams for every semester, like seriously every except for the last semester since I was away for internship, so kinda have more time on hand.

2014 has been rather relaxing, compared to the previous years, after entering Uni (of course).

Since i spent 8 months off from school and this semester I only have 3 exams. (That is the least amount of exams that I have ever since I started University.)

Next year, which is the last semester is going to be tough with Design Project to be submitted within 13 weeks , and reports plus presentations to be done all within the same time frame, more than happy to have 2014 to cushion it for now.

I can't help but to always agree that time flies. ESPECIALLY when you hit the 20s.... :(

I know this is the so-called quarter life crisis, not knowing where your next step should go and where it will lead you to.

Before entering Uni, I kinda know I need to enter it no matter what so the goal was available for 20 years.

After entering it, this comes the important part, I have no idea where to go after that. I kept telling myself I can think about it while studying for now, but I know I never did. Where should I go next never come into the picture, since I have 'absent-minded-ly' forgotten about it.

Hopefully as the chinese saying goes, 船到桥头自然直。 I will re-know what I heading to again.

Enough of the above, I don't wish to be a grumpy woman who only know how to write down nonsense here. hahas.

Will be back for more updates if i have any.

Korea: Everland, Land of DREAM :)

I am back here, with a updated blog skin, and still going to write about the ~~boring~~ (for you, but not for me) Korea trip!

One thing that I am quite is that sure is Everland definitely better than Universal Studios Singapore (USS)! I wouldn’t deny that the rides in USS are quite fun and scarily (for me at least, since I don’t really enjoy these kind of rides very much, no gut!) BUT, Everland is so much bigger!! There are more things to do in USS if you are not taking the rides! And I just so happened managed to go to USS a few weeks before I go to Everland in Korea! The facilities in Everland will be a bit older and used since it was opened quite long ago compared to USS?

I am those kind of people who need friends’ “encouragements” (more like push, psychoing and force) before I would be “willing” to take those heart-dropping rides, I only enjoy speed but not so much of the sudden drop feeling, it makes me feel like I am dying~~

So luckily? (For those that scare of rides) Or sian (for some ppl who enjoy rides) For this Everland trip, I have friends who are more scare of the rides than me! So I managed to skip the famous T-ride in Everland, but we took the pirate ship instead (ZH and WL look more sick than me after the ride). And a mini roller coaster that was manageable for all 3 of us : )

Back to the trip to Everland, we took subway to Gangnam to take bus that will eventually bring us to a station that have Everland/Carribean Bay buses to the actual Everland/ Carribean Bay location. I think I mentioned in my older post of how to get there through public transport before, but will just repeat that again here : )

I just realized me and Z didn’t spend time touring in Gangnam when we were in Korea! : ( Based on the stretch of road that we passed by when we were on Gangnam street, it was more crowded and have more international brands stores available compared to Ewha. Well, nothing much other than that? Not that I have much of a memory about it since I was pretty much in pain (girl problem~) and couldn’t be bothered much to do sight-seeing while finding the bus 5002 to get to the Everland bus stop.

I think because it was weekend, there were a lot of people going to Everland as well, and it is about an hour journey from the moment you board the bus to reach Everland Bus stop, so best is if you can get a seat, which we did after 15 minutes into the ride. (It was a little bit bumpy ride if I didn’t remember wrongly as I was sleeping and got jerked up a few times.)

So the moment we reached there and when I woke up, it was raining- HEAVILY. The shelters didn’t even feel like shelter as raining was splashing inwards. I pity the usher there, they looked so drained. I think we waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and Everland bus is finally here and the sky decide to weaken the rain and eventually stop when we reach Everland.

So time to take out your passports/ flash coupons that you have collected previously/ show that you are students and try to get discount for whatever reasons that you can have, grab your site map and off you go into Everland now!

First up was the Cable car! It wasn’t really high ride; I wished that it would go even higher to get a even better view of Everland, but better than nothing I guess: )

So we separate into our different groups (2 adventurous T-ride fighter group and 3 gutless, tourist-mode-on group who decided that we will not take any rides at all right from the start even before we entered Everland) (so don’t ask me about the rides, cause I have absolutely no idea, though the pirate ship felt like it is going to be vertical already

(the LONGEST(1.5 hrs!!) waiting time that we spent on!!! Missed our bus back in the end and had to take TAXI back and the price was insane :(((( )
